the best mode in which the said

Bridge may be enlarged and made more Commoding
for the publick and Report his opinion thereon to other with the Ehence thereof beforeto the Court on the County Day of the next Sessions
& that it be referred to Peter Henderson< no role > and John Rae< no role > Esqrs .
two of his Majestys Justices of the peace for this County
to cause a Race to be penced are the paratel Walls of the said Bridge. in order
to make the same more Secure

Sir William Gibbons< no role > Baronet attended this Court
respecting the Repairs necessary and wanting to be done at the
Bridge at Pyle in this County he admitted that this Bridge
had been Could by and supported constantly repaired by the Law
of the Manor of Stanwell and that a Bar was constantly
kept up and opened at the pleasure of the Lord and that when
he fix Nr. came into possession of the Estate in the Year 1776
he caused the Bar ta be taken down & that the Bridge had been
opened ever since that time that he had never [..] any Repairing
to be done to it

Proceedings of the prison Commee
