The humble petition and appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the poor of the Parish of
Bucklebury
in the County of Berks
Sheweth
That by Virtue of an Order or pass Warrant under the
Hands and Seals of N Onant and Pr. Nave two of his Majesty's
Justices of the peace
in and for the County of Middlesex
(one whereof being of
the Quorum) bearing Date the Twenty ninth Day of June one
Thousand Seven hundred and ninety six Whereby Richard Turner< no role >
together with his wife Sarah< no role >
and their Seven Children Videlicet

aged about fourteen Years Mary< no role >
aged about Thirteen Years

aged about Eight Years

aged about six Months were removed and conveyed
from and out of the parish of Saint Luke Chelsea
in the County
of Middlesex
to the said Parish of Bucklebury
as the place of
their last legal Settlement whereby Your Petitioner conceive
themselves to be aggrieved
Your Petitioners therefore humbly appeal to
this Court against the Adjudication of the said
Two Justices and their said order pray that
Your Worships will be pleased to appoint a Day to
hear and Determine the said appeal
And your Petitioners will Ever pray Etc
