The Examination of Robert Wedderburn< no role >
a Rogue and Vagabond apprehended by
James Black< no role > Headborough Taken on Oath
before me one of His Majesty's Justices of the
Peace in and for the said County

Who saith That he is legally settled in the Parish of
Saint Leonard Shoreditch in the County of Middlesex
by renting a House at the rate of Twelve Pounds
per Annum for Nine Months about a Year ago
and that he is by Trade a Taylor and at present
works as a Journneyman

The Examination of Elizabeth< no role > the Wife of the said Roberts
Wedderburn and James Crockwell< no role > one of the Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of Saint Leonard Shoreditch in the
County of Middlesex .

The said Elizabeth Wedderburn< no role > saith That she was
lawfully Married to the said Robert Wedderburn< no role > at the
Parish Church of Creed London on the fifth day of November
1781 And futher saith that her said Husband did on the
Sixteenth day of May last unlawfuly run away at the
Parish of Saint Mary White Chapel in the said County and
leave her this Examinant without support Whereby this
Examinant has become chargeable to the Parish of Saint
Leonard Shoreditch and is at present maintained in the
workhouse of the Parish last mentioned

The said James Crockwell< no role > saith That the said Elizabeth
Wedderburn
< no role > is now a Charge to the Parish of Saint
Leonard Shoreditch and is in the Parish Workhouse
there.
