To the Worshipful His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County of
Middlesex in their General Quarter Sessions of the peace Assembled

We the underwritten the Minister Churchwardens and other
Inhavitants of the parish of Saint Leonard Shoreditch in the County of
Middlesex beg leave to recommend Thomas Page< no role > of Haggerston
in the Parish and County aforesaid as a proper
person to be entrusted with a Licence from your Worships for Haughtering
and killing unserviceable Horses and other Cattle pursuant to an
Act of parliament made and passed in the Twenty sixth year of the
Reign of His present Majesty King George the third entitled "An Act
"for regulating Houses and other peaces kept for the purpose of
Slaughtering Horses Given under our Hands and Seals the 10th
day of April 1794
