James Wright< no role > of Crouch End in the Parish of Hornsey
in the County of Middlesex Surveyer and John Prickett< no role > of
High gate in the said County Surveyor make oath and say
that on the Fourteenth day of January one Thousand Seven
hundred and ninety four they did survey and examine
a certain Lane called Devalls Lane situate in the said
County And Particularly that part of the same nearest the
Parish of [..] Ret part thereof where the
same hath lately been widened is at this Time on account
of the Parish [..] bert [..]
of opinion [..] Trent brecks up two
Carriage will not then be able to pass each other
in the same places without Sticking in the Clay
for want of being gravelled
