To the Worshipful his Majesty's Justices
of the Peace for the County of Middlesex
in their General Quarter Session of the
Peace assembled.

The humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Chipping Ongar
in the County of Essex .

Sheweth

That by a Pass Warrant or Order under the Hands
and Seals of William Coleman< no role > and Humphrey Jackson< no role > Esquires two of
his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County of
Middlesex bearing date the twelfth day of September
last past Joanna Wilkinson< no role > Widow was removed from and
out of the Parish of Enfield in the said County of
Middlesex to the said Parish of Chipping Ongar as the
Place of her last legal Settlement.

That Your Petitioners thinking themselves
aggrieved by the said Pass Warrant or Order have
therefore appealed against the same and humbly pray
your Worships to make such Order in the Premises as
to your Worships shall seem meet.

And your Petitioners shall ever pray etc.
