The Information and Complaint of Martha Collier< no role >
the Wife of Thomas Collier< no role > of the Parish of Edmonton
in the County of Middlesex Ribbon Weaver taken on
Oath before me Paul Pechell< no role > Esquire One of his Majesty's
Justices of the Peace For the said County this Second Day
of August 1786

Who Saith That she hired Ann Simmonds< no role > [..]
Bromham as her Servant at the Wager of Three Shillings
by the Week, that During the Time of her Service she gave
her Some Linnen to Wash among which was a Shift one
Coloured Apron, and a Check Muslin half Hand kerchief
and three Coloured Hand kerchiefs the Property of her this
Complainant, That about Three Weeks before last Christmas
this Informant sent the said Ann of an Erand That
she never Returned, this Complaint found that She
the said Ann had carried away with her the abovementioned
Shift Apron and Hand kerchiefs as also a Cloth Cloak
the Property of her this Complaint, This Complaint
made Enquirer after her but never could hear of her
until Yesterday when she Saw the Husband of the Said
Ann Driving of a Cart belonging to Christopher Corrale< no role >
Esquire of North Mims in the County of Hertford by which
means she Found the said Ann lived with her Husband
in a Lodging at Potters Bar that she this Complainant
Sent her Son James Collier< no role > and William Saltmarsh< no role >
in Pursuit of Her, and that a Cloak and Handkerchief
now produced is the Property of her the said Martha
