The Humble Petition & appeal of the Overseers of the
poor
of the Hamlets of Ham
in the Count of Surry
Sheweth
That by Virtue of an order of also warrant under the
Hands & Seals of Stephen Cole< no role >
& W Stechford Esquires
Two of his Majestys Justices of the peace
for the sd. County of
Middlesex
(one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date
the thirdday of May instant John Grove< no role >
&
was removed and conveyed from the Parish of Twickenham
in the County of Middlesex
aforesaid unto the said Hamlet of
Ham as the place of his last legal Settlement
That your Petitioners conceiving themselves
agrieved by the said Warrant or order of the Majestices Justices
Do appeal to your Worships therefore and humbly pray
that you will be pleased to hear them in the Premisses &
Order that the Church wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
said Parish of Wickenham
may appear before you on a
certain Day to be appointed, to hear and abide the Judgement
& determination of your worships touching this [..] appeal
