I am desired by the Gendleman in of this
place to write to you in relation to the recognozance
of Benjamin Johnson< no role >
. I find several Letter have
been written to him but directed to Heston, which are
come hither at no small expence. In the recognizance
he is said to be of Heston
, where he does not live
He did not fail to attend & deliver his son,
which was supposed all that was required of him
The poor Creature is very old & very poor and has
a Son who has almost broke his Heart Under
them circumstances it is supposed you will not
press the payment of the Tea which he cannot pay
without our assistance. It what I mention has and
the might we hope, of you will favour me with
a hint what he must do I will look to it as he
is much respected
