our said Lord the KING in the county aforesaid.
And also to bear and determine divers felonies, tres-
passes, and other misdemeanors, committed in the said
county.
It is ordered by the COURT here as followeth:
WHEREAS divers Waggoners and other Carriers,
by combination among themselves, have raised
the price of the carriage of goods from the city of Lon-
don into this county, to excessive rates, to the great
prejudice and obstruction of trade, for [..] edy whereof,
this court, in virtue of the statutes in that case made
and provided, doth assess, rate and six, the prices of all
land carriages of goods and merchandize whatsoever to
he brought from the city of London
into the several
places within this county hereafter mentioned, at the
several times and seasons of the year hereafter expressed,
by any common waggoner or carrier, as followeth, (That
is to say)
Nor every hundred weight to be brough at any time
from the 25th of March to the 29th of September, to the
Borough of Leicester
, 5s and no more.
To Market Harborough
4s. and no more.
To Lutterworth
4s. and no more.
To Mountsorrel
5s. and no more.
To Loughborough
5s. and no more.
To Hinckley
4s. 6d. and no more.
To Ashby -de la-zouch
5s. 6d. and no more.
To Market Bosworth
5s. and no more.
And to Melton Mowbray
5s. and no more.
And so after the same rates respectively for every
greater or lesser quantity to be brough during the time
aforesaid, to the several places above-mentioned, (parcels
under the weight of 14th. only excepted.)
And for every hundred weight to be brought any time
between the 29th day of September and the 25th day of
March.
To the Borough of Leicester
aforesaid, 5s. 6d. and
no more.
To Market-Harbro
4s. 6d. and no more.
To Lutterworth
4s. 6d. and no more.
To Mountsorrel
5s. 6d. and no more.

several places above-mentioned, during the time last
specified. (Parcels under the weight of 14th. only ex-
cepted.)
And it is further ordered, that 1s. and no more, shall
or may be taken and received by any common waggoner
or carrier for the carriage of any parcel or quantity of
goods and merchandizes under 14lb. weight. from the
city of London
to any of the several places in this county
above-mentioned, at any time or season of the year what
soever.
