To His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County of Middlesex
in their General Session of the Peace, held for the said County on Thursday
the 24th. day of February 1780 assembled

The Report of the Committee appointed to
carry into immediate and effectual Execution
the repair of New Prison and Clerkenwell [..]
upon this enquiry whether or no Willim Smith< no role >
Doctr in Physic hath for near four years lad
pad or for any other period constantly attended
such Prisoners as above confined within that
space of time in the several Goals in the County
of Middlesex and City and Liberty of Westminster
and has been sick during their Confinement and
whether he hath been at any Expence in respect
to the said Sick Prisoners and upon other matter
asferred

The said Committee Report

That having taken into Consideration the order
of reference to them made Vizt. To enquire Particularly whether or no
.William Smith< no role > Doctor in Physic hath for wear four years last past a for
.any other paced constantly attended such Prisoners as have been
.confined within that space of time in his Majestys Goal of Newgate in New
.Prison at Clerkenwell in the House of correction at Clerkenwell in the
.House of Correction at Tothefields in the Gate house or New Prison at
.Westminster in Whitechapel Goal or in the Goal of the liberty of his
.Majestys Tower of London being all the Goals and Prisons within the
.County of Middlesex and City and Liberty of Westminster is either of
.them and have been sick during their Confirment and whether he [..]
.been at any Expence in respect to the said Sick Prisoners they proce [..] d
the Petition of William Smith< no role > of Lower Brook Street in the County
of Middlesex Doctor in Physic to the Honorable the Common of Great
Britain in Parliament assembled and the Repest made to the House of
Commons by the Committee appointed by that House, to whom the
Petition of the said William Smith< no role > was referred, and upon which
Report the House of commons founded the following vote Vizts. that a
