A Committee of Governors of Bethlem Hospital will meet at the
said Hospital, in Moorfields , this Day, at Eleven o' Clock in the
Foreman precisely, to receive Proposals from such Persons as are
willing to Serve the said Hospital with the best Beef, Mutton, Veal,
and Pork, for the Half Year, from Michaelmas to Lady-Day next, at

Eleven in the Forenoon, with their Proposals, specifying the Quality and Price.

VEY; late of Amersham , in the County of Bucks, Innholder, are
desired to send an Account of such their respective Demands immediately to

a Dividend will be made of the said William Harvey< no role > 's Effects, at the Griffin
Inn, in Amersham aforesaid, on Thursday the 15th Day of October next;
and all Persons neglecting to send such Accounts of their Demands as afore-
said, will be excluded the Benefit of the said Dividend.

DESERTED from the 3d (or King's own) Regiment of
Dragoens, now encamped near Bury , ABRAHAM EASTWOOD< no role > ,
aged 26, five Feet eight Inches and a Half high, light-brown Hair, grey
Eyes, fresh Complexion, flout and well made, born in the Parish of Rochdale ,
in the County of Lancaster , by Trade a Woolcomber; he had on when he de-
serted a light-coloured Coat, with a Velvet Collar of the same Colour, a Beff
Waistcoat with white Metal Buttons, and a Star in the Middle of them, Coat
Buttons the same, Whoever apprehends and secures the above Deserter in
any of his Majesty's Goals shall have Two Guineas over and above that al-
lowed by Act of Parliament, by applying to Serjeant Stanley, at the Union
Arms, Pant [..] -Street, Hay-Market , London, or at the Head Quarters of
the Regiment.

A Caution on two Bills. Lost on Monday last, two Bills of
Exchange, one for [..] ool. on Most. Admirauld at Fits aine, at La Ro-
chelle, and by them accepted on the 2nd of August Last, to be paid in 12
Months by Mr. Lewis Teissier< no role > , in London; and the other for 300l. on Mess.
Pache, Freies, and Co. in Paris, and by them accepted in August last, to be
paid in 12 Months by Mess. Bourdieu and Chollet, in London; both Bills are
payable to the Order of Mr. Jacob Rider< no role > , and as they were lost Payment was
immediately stopt. This is therefore to caution every Banker, Merchant, or
other Person to whom the same may be tendered in Payment, or for Discount,
not to advince any Money on them, but to stop them, and give Notice at the
Temple Coffee-House.

LOST Yesterday, between Two and Three, going from
Winchester-Street to Cornhill, a Bank Note for 1st. Whoever brings
it to Mess. Welch, Rogers, and Co. Cornhill, shall have One Guinea.

LOST or Mistaid the following Bank Post Bill, viz,
No. E 1856, to John Burgwin< no role > , Esq . or Order, 25l. dated Aug. 23,
1777. Whoever will bring it to Z. Z. at the Blue Anchor, on St. Marys
Hill, Billingsgate , shall have Half a Guinea Reward.

WATCH. Lost going into the Pit in Sadler's Wells on
Thursday Night last, a Silve; Watch, Maker's Name Boully,
No. 2775, with a Steal Chain, a Silve. [..] j, and three Keys. Any Person
bringing the same to the Bar of the Rose and Crown , the Corner of Rose-
Street , Soho, shall have One Guinea for their Trouble.

LOST on Tuesday the 15th instant from knightsbridge , a
little Dog of the Spanish Breed, yellow and white, remarkable full
Eyes, and yellow Spot in the Middle of his Forehead. Whoever will bring
him to No. 4, High-Row, Knightsbridge, opposite the Swan Inn , shall have
One Guinea Reward.

LOST from Mr. Went's, Wheelwright , Tottenham-Court-
Road , a large Yard Dog, of a reddish Colour, with long Ears and Tail,
with a small white Spot on his Chest; had on a strong Leather Collar, and
answers to the Name of Lion. Whoever will bring him to the above Place shall
have Half a Guinea. No greater Reward will be offered.

LOST on Tuesday Night, a black Spaniel Dog, of King
Charles's Breed, a White Stripe down his Breast, and answers to the
Name of Prince. Whoever will bring him to Mr. Car [..] New Round-
Court , Strane, [..] have Right Sh [..] No greater Reward will begiven.

ON Thursday the 17th instant followed [..] Person out of Pan-
cras -Fields, as Pointer Birch. Whoever has lost the same may have her
again, giving proper Marks, and paying the Advertisement, by applying to
Mr. Long's Livery Stables, Gray's Inn Lane .

ONE Hundred and Fifty Pounds ready to be given for an
Annuity, short Leasehold, a Place, or Patnership in a profitable ready
Money Business. Particulars are desired to be lest at Owen's Coffee-House,
Holborn, for W. M. which, if approved of, shall be answered, or waited upon.

FOLLOWED a Servant of Mr. Ellis's, No. 84, Blackman-
Street, Southwark , on Saturday last, a Pointer Dog, Any Person he
belongs to by describing his Marks, and paying for this Advertisement, may
have him again by applying as above.

FOUND early on Tuesday Morning by the Watchman in
East-Street, Theobald's Road, a fine, young, brindled Heifer. Who-
ever can prove it their Property, by describing the Marks, may have it again
paying all Expences, and enquiring at the Coach and Horses , Little Or-
mond-Yard, Ormond-Street .

WANTED a small House of two Rooms upon a Floor, with
two Bed-Chambers, Kitchen, and Garret, and a small Garden,
within a few Miles of London ; if upon the Kentish or Surry Roads the more

ing, or Streatham, will be most Agreeable, Direct to A. B. at the Baptist's
Head Coffee-House, Aldermanbury , describing the Particulars.

BOARD and Lodging. A Lady who lives about five Miles
from Town, in a very airy Situation, good Neighbourhood, and very
convenient for Stage-Coaches, would be glad to board and lodge a [..]

A Gentlewoman , of an undoubted and respectable Character,
and of a mild and amiable Disposition, would think herself happy, for
a reasonable Consideration, if the could render herself an agreeable Companion
to an elderly Lady or Gentleman , and having been used to the Care of a F [..]
mily would have no Objection to assist or superintend one; Town or Country
are equally agreeable to her. Any Person of good Character may knew farther
by applying to Mrs. Osbourn, Sack and Gown Maker, Bridges-Street , op-
posite York-Street, Covent-Garden .

WANTS a Place, a middle-aged Person of creditable Con-
nections, who would be glad to accept or any of the following Em-
ployments, vix. to be an Assistant in a Shop , to attend upon an elderly Lady,
or to Superintend a small Family where there is another Servant kept; she has
no Objection to the Country. Please to address to H. C. at No. 28, in
Bow-Lane .

A Married Woman, between 30 and 40, would be glad, to
attend on any Lady or Family going to India this Season, her Motive
being to go to her Husband who is settled there; her Character will bear the

A Young Woman with a good Breast of Milk, who has lately
lain, in of her second Child, would be glad of a Child to nurse at Her

ACCOMMODATIONS for Lunaticks or insane Persons,
The Friends or Relations of such unhappy Sufferers are desired to ap-
ply to Mr. Perfect, Surgeon and Apothecary , of Malling , in Kent, on Mon-
day, Tuesday, or Wednesday next, at the Blossoms Inn, Lawrence-Lane ,
where he will attend for that Purpose.

Letters (Post paid) directed for J. H. at Mr. Jones's, Stationer,
Middle Ten: ple-Lane, will be attended to.

WANTED immediately, an Apprentice to a Surgeon and
Apothecary , in good Business Enquire of Mr. Hutton, Grocer , in
Wells-Street , Oxford-Street.

WANTED a Boy, as Apprentice to a Cooper , with a Small
Premium. Enquire at Mr. Robinson's, No. 17, Blackman-Street
Southwark .

APPRENTICESHIP. Wanted two Apprentices to a gen -
teel and profitable Business in the Country: A small Premium will be
expected, and the Friends to find them or allow for Cloaths and Washing.

TO Parents and Guardians. A Youth of good Morals, who
has received a tolerable English Education (if a Latin one the better)
is wanted as an Apprentice to a genteel Business; he will be entitled to the
Freedom of the City, and the Premium will depend on Circumstances. Apply
