on Oath that on Sunday last he perceisd a
leader Tipe abt. 12 ft. long that lay from his Tangeis
to ye water to supply water for his works had been [..]
off, & camed away, & being told that one lover in
Brentford lad had bought some Lead of that said he
went that her & sew pech of ye Pipe that was so broke &
[..] him House [..]
he had stopt on being brot to him by one John Bailey< no role >
& deliv'd it to him, & further saith that he cond at
home wth him & found on examination that it filled
[..] ye part of ye Pipe that was left where it was broke
off & is therefore certain that it was his property

James Lover< no role > of [..] Brentford End saith upon Oath that on Saturday
list abt noon, one John Bailey< no role > brot. a peice of Leader
Pipe to his House Its being not to his sister Sarah Wist & told [..] has found it in ye River
& offend it to her Sale if there upon [..] for him & on further enquiry said
the & Saint Dean has been dragging ye River & then
found it, upon which, He Lover told him he wd step ye
lead, & If on Deans coming home at night, he agreed
in ye Story he wd. buy it, that dean at Night told
him he knew asking of ye matter, & on Sunday ye above
named John Chalk< no role > came to him as abovementioned &
Ren'd it, & Its Lover went with him & saw it fitted is
Abovemention'd:

Morng last me John Bailey< no role > came to her Brot [..] with as
Bit of broken leader Pipe & offer'd it to Sale saying his had
found in ye River which she Bought of him, that abt.
Middle of ye day he came wth. a second peice, with ye
same story, & she suspecting something wrong, sent for her
Brother home, who stopd ye Lend as abovemention'd, & finding
it to belong to John Chalk< no role > has return'd it to him
