We are of opinion that it wod be highly beneficialmuch for the good of
of great utilityto this countyin particular
and the Kingdom [..] considerable national benefits
to have a more Spacious House of correction
fittest up and provided witha stock [..]
a stock [..] for every fitting kind of Labour (whether
profitable on not) to employ all persons
comitted thither andyour SamWe submit that
such a Comedionsandwell furnish'd and well ordered House of Correction will be a means of amendmt. of the vicious part poorof the people Swarming about the Termand is an oblicatory business of the Justices.
Thatthe saidsuch two Prisons should
be united on contiguous as they now are and that
for the betters recovering ofre bringingthe prisoners from the
present profligate & abandoned State there
should beaa chapelservingso situated as to
serve for both prisons

That when ever the Sessions house shall
be removed it will be properconvenientto have
it rebuilt contiguous [..] if not to adjoin
both because a [..] fit piece of [..] for it's reedification
the prisons cannot be had for a small price near it's present situation as by that will be convenient for
the magistrates and all persons engaged at the Sessions andfor the
