The election of a Chairman of the Sessions for the
The Prsent Chairman reelected wth Thanks ensuing half Year.

The Chairman reported to the Court
the proceedg. of Mr. Clay agt. Waller.
and the rect. of notice for a Certior.
Moved that 3 or more Justices attend Mr.
Chairman to Mr. Justice Ashhurst
Mr. Hammond
Mr. BarnfatherOrdered
Mr. Mercer named
Mr. Chelthum to
be Crippyed.

Moved that a comce be appointed
to considr. of the most speedy &
effectual Method for recovering
of the Books papers & Records of
the Sessions out of the Hands of
Mr. Waller an Order of Court have
been made for producing them, and
served on Mr. Waller which he hath not
yet complied with Ordered

Mr. Waller the late Clk of the Peace havg. served
the John Hawkins< no role > Esqr . and Several
other Justices present at the Quarter
Sessions on Friday last, when he was
discharged from his Office, with Notice
of an Application to Mr. Justices Ashurst
for a writ of Certior to remove ye
proceedings into the Court of Kgsn
Bench the Justices who have reced
such Notice desire the consideration
and advice of the Court whether they
sheor any & whom shod. wait upon
the Judge conformably to the Notice
and intent of the Stat of 13. Gr. cap
18. to shew cause agt. the granting
of a Writ.
