have her ends of the said Deft and further sayd Speaking to
Deft why dont you exhibit Articles of the Peace agt. her tho'
during the Whole time this Dept. never spoke nor sayd one
word to them and in such like manner together with false and
feigned Prosecutions that hath been wickedly and untruly raised
Stirred up and Commenced agt. her this Dept. and her Daughter
by the said Deft and his Gang this Dept. at times hath been by
them almost Terrified out of her life during the Progress of the
Proceedings in this Cause This Dept. further sayth that at
last to wit In April Session 1762. the said Deft was brought upon
his Trial in this Cause and was Convicted fined and Committed
by the Court to Clerkenwell New Prison as this Dept. is informed
and beleives Notwithstanding which the said Deft is in
Bridewell and is made the Turnkey there as this Dept. is also
Informed and beleives and that the house for which he was
Convicted for keeping is still kept on in like mannerand
by same
and Infamous as ever And Lastly this Dept.
sayth that by the Several litigious proceedings before mentioned
this Dept. Costs in this Cause hath been much increased Besides
the great Costs she hath been put unto in Defending herself and
Daughter agt. the aforesaid false and feigned prosecutions
above mentioned amounting in the whole to now than the
Sum of thirty Pounds as this Dept. verily beleives
