theFields within of the Liberty of Westmr .
in the County of Middlesex
[..] to receive and convey.

And to the Church-wardens, Chapel-Wardens, or Overseer
of the Poor of the Parish, Place or Precinct ofChilton
in theCountyofHills
or either of them to receive and obey

WHEREASThomas Harper< no role > was
apprehended in thesd. ParishofSt. Martin in the Fields
as a Rogue and Vagabond, (Videlicet)Wandering & begging in
a loose idle and disorderly manner contrary to the
Statute in that at Case made and provided
and upon Examination of the said [..] Thomas Harper< no role >
taken beforemeupon Oath (which
Examination is hereunto annexed) it doth appear thatthe last legal
Place of Settlement of the said Thomas Harper< no role >
is in the Parish of Chilton in the County of Wilts :
aforesaid

That are therefore to require you the said Constable or other Officer
to Convey the saidThomas Harper< no role >
to the Parish of Colnbrooke in ye. County of Bucks :that being the first
Parishin the next Precinct through whichheought to pass in the
direct Way to the saidParishofChilton to which
he isto be sent and to deliverhimto the Constable or
other Officer of suchParishin such next Precinct together with this
Pass and the Duplicate of the Examination of the saidThomas
taking his Receipt for the same. And the saidThomas Harper< no role >
to be thence carried on like Manner to
the saidParishofChilton
there to be delivered to some Church-warden, Chapel-warden or Overseer
of the Poor of the sameParish
to be there provided for according to law. And you the said Church-
warden, Chapel-warden, or Overseer of the Poor , are hereby required to
receive the said Person and provide for him as aforesaid. Given under
in the Year of our Lord 1757.
