John Oakeyne< no role > of New Inn in the County of Middx
Gent Sollr. for the Prosecutor in this Cause Maketh Oath
That Two of the Material Witnesses for the King in this
Cause to Witt. John Williams< no role > & Peter Davis< no role > without whose
Testimony the Prosecutor cant safely proceed to Try all as
this Depont. Apprehends live at a great distance from London
namely that the Town of Bergavenny in the County of
Monmouth is the place where the said John Williams< no role > Resides
And that the Town of Eynesbury in the County of Huntingdon
is the place where the said Peter Davis< no role > Resides And this Depont.
Saith that he beleives the said Williams & Davis are now at each
of their Respective places of Abode Above mentioned for any
thing this Depont. hath heard or knows to the Contrary And this
depont. Saith that heReceived no Notice of Tryeing this
Traverse till Yesterday Two a Clock in the Afternoon But if
this Depont. had had Reasonable Notice he would have gott the
Witnesses together and have Tryed this Traverse & this Sessions

sworn in Court the tenth
day of October 1733 }
