WHEREAS it appeareth unto Us, whose Hands and Seals
are hereunto set, Two ofhisMajesties Justices of the
Peace for thesaid County of Middx
(Quorum unus) upon the Complaint of the Church-Wardens and Over-
seers of the Poor of the Parish ofSt Leonard Shoreditch
in the SaidCountythatSusana Burnett< no role > Widdow Late wife of
Barnett< no role > alias Barnaby, Burnett< no role > Decd , (an Irishman who never gained any
Settlemt: in this Kingdom) with her Two Children (Vizt) Eleanor< no role >
aged about Tow years, & Barnett< no role > aged about Eight weeks,
the Lawfull Issue of the said Barnett< no role > alias Barnaby, Burnett< no role > Decd , & the
said Susana Burnett< no role >
are lately come into the said Parish, endeavouring to settle
there without giving Notice in Writing to the said
Church-Wardens or Overseers of the Poor, or any one of them, of the
House oftheirabode in the said Parish, according to
the Statute in that Case made and provided; And that the saidSusan Burnett< no role >
And her said two Children are
likely to become chargeable to the said Parish: And whereas it appeareth
unto usUpon Examinacon On Oath of the said Susan

< no role > that will adjudge the same to be true & Do likewise
adjudge, that the said Susana Burnett< no role > & her said two Children
[..] wherelast legally settled in the Parish of
Great Shelford In the County of Cambridge

mand you and every of you, forthwith upon sight hereof to remove and
convey the saidSusana Burnett< no role > & her two Children
from the said Parish ofSt Leonard Shoreditch

Poor there, who are hereby required to provide forthem
