& Sound Oaken timber, piles, planks & all other
materialls wee have taken a contract from
William Butler< no role > of New Brentford in this
County Carpenter & John Mills< no role > of the Parish
of Littleton in the Same County Carpenter for
the doeing thereof, who have by Articles of
agreemt. bearing date the thirtyeth day of
June last under their hands & Seales made
between them of the one part & us the Said
Justices of the other part covenanted & agreed
for the Sume of 680l. I well & Sufficiently to
rebuild the aforesaid part of the sd Bridge
withsuchgood & Sound Oaken timber, Piles,
planks. Trussell heads, posts rails, gravell,
Joyners worke, painting, Iron Worke, & all other
materialls of the Scan things & according to the
method & manner specifyed in the Accot. or
estimateunderwritten under the Said Articles, together
with all other worke & materialls as well not
menconed therein as menconed in a good
Substantiall & workman like manner and
to compleat & finish the Same before the thirty
first day of October now next ensueing (if the
Same can be done & performed before that time)
or assoon after as the Same can be conveniently
done, And to find provide & use good Sound &
Sufficient Oaken timber, pilers, planks & all
other materialls in & about the doing of the sd
worke, And to make & preseave a convenient
passage for Foot Passengers Passing & repassing
over the Said Bridge during the continuance
of the Said Worke, they the Sd. William
Butler
< no role > & John Mills< no role > being at liberty to use
Such of the oldgood & Soundtimber & materialls as
Shall be assigned to them by a Survey or (to
be by us appointed to Survey the sd worke)
as Sound good & Sufficient to be used in the
doeing thereof andbutthe residue of the old
timber & materialls over & above what
Shall be Soe assigned is to be allowed to
the Said Butler & Mills for their owne use
And wee doe further Certify that the Said Sume of
£680. is in our opinion a reasonable print for
rebuilding thesaidaforesaid part of the sd. Bridge,
And that £226.13s.4d part thereof was advanced &
paid by Sr. Daniel Dolins< no role > Knt. Chairman of this Court in pursuance of the said order
out of moneys by him reced of the Exerr. of Sd. Isaac
Tillard
< no role > Knt.late Tdeced late Trear of Bridge
money & other moneys in his hands unto the said
William Butler< no role > & John Mills< no role > at the time of their
Sealeing & delivery of the sd. Articles, And that
£226.13s.4d other Pwee have covenantedthat wee or
theby the said Articles that wee or the Trear of the
moneys to be raised for repaire of the publique Bridges of
