To the Right Worpfull his Majesties Justices
of the peace for the County of Middlx in
Quarter Sessions assembled

The humble peticon & appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of
the Parish of Clavering in the County of Es [..]

Sheweth

That by an order dated the seventeenth day of January
last under the hands & seals of Sr John Austin < no role > Bart and Honorat
Smyth
< no role > Esqr two of his Majesties Justices of the peace for the
Said County of Middlx (quor unus) one Mary Ruden< no role > with one child named
Richard< no role > aged about Six months, who were likely to become
chargeable to the Parish of Monken Hadley in the Said County of
Middlx [..] were removed from the Said parish of Monken Hadley to
the Said Parish of Clavering in the Said County of Essex as the
Place of their last legal Settlemt

That your peticoners find themselves agreived by the Said warrt
or order of the Said two Justices & hope to make it appear to this
Court that the Said Mary Ruden< no role > & her Said Child have noe
legal settlement in the said Parish ofMonker Hadley Clavering &
therefore humbly appeal against the said order

Yor Petrs & Appellants humbly pray that
this Court will be pleased to appoint a day
this prsent Sessions for the Churchwardens &
Overseers of the poor of the Said Parish of
Monken Hadley & all other PSons concned
to attend this Court to hear & abide the
judgment & determinacon of this Court upon
the Said appeal & that the Appellants may
be releived herein according to Law & Justice
