detained all night as A prisoner Justice Ellis the next morning s [..]
for the lewd Women out of her Round house without hearing
any charge that was against her or Examining for what she was
taken upp for but takes her sd then being A prisoner against
the said Wild goose that was charged with her And she swore the [..]
the said Wild goose demanded five shillings of her & she said the
she would give him halfe A Crown if he would let her goe
& further swore because that she would not give him five
shillings he would carry her to the watch house or Round house
upon which Justice Ellis threatned Wild goose that if he [..]
[..] imediatly he would comitt so [..]
[..] itt if he had not had A House keeper And Mr Vaughan
being next door neighbour to him beggd of him to be the
other Bail and the said Wild goose said to ye Justice the
he was intirely innotent of what that woman had swore
against him

Justice Ellis was pleased after he had done what he thought [..]
at his owne house he followed Cholmondly & Mr Vaughan to [..]
court house where the other Justices were & there Ordered this
disorderly woman to Sweare the same thing before them and she [..]
accordingly did & afterwords by his menales & Threatnings he
[..] the Lewd women discharged & said Cholemondly he was
a raskall & that he knew Cholmondly very well & further [..]
that he did not doubt but he should have Cholmondly Ear [..]
naild to the pillory And Justice Ellis turnnigh the three
Justices said that Justices Milner & he had alwayes strived to
keepe these fellows out of the parish And would you Gentlem [..]
meaning the three Justices were bringing them in upon them
The Justices being then under very great surprise hearing
such A heavy change agt as that they gave us noe Anso [..]
either for us or against us but the Justices riseing upp & goeing
away Justice Ellis in go face of ye three magistrates in the [..] Court
before some of the lend persons charged the Constables which [..]
ever they saw any of them in st Giles parish that they should cause [..]
to New prison & he would stand by them & being that handed by Justi [..]
Ellis Cholmondly & Mr Vaughan were very much abused by the W [..]
comeing from the Court house that had got together but with some
& Humbly wee got safe home god be praysed
