Know all Men by these presents that I St: Thomas Dereham< no role > of [..]
West Dereham in the County of Nor folke Barronett Have Made ordained conssitu [..]
and appointed and by these presented doe make ordaine constitude and appoint
Edward Benton< no role > of shere lane in the Parish of St Dunstans in the West in the County of
Middlesex gentleman my Lawfull Atterney for me and in my place and stead at the Gener at Quarter Sessions of
the Peace be held for the County of Middx next after the date here of in Open Sessions to
subscribe my name to the Registry or entry which I Haved desired the Clerke of the
Peace of and for the County of Middx or his Lawfull Deputy to make of my name and of
my Estate in a Messuage or Tenement together with the Ground whereon the same is erected &
built situate being in Com kingham Street in York buildings in the Parish of St Martin
in the Feilds in the County of Middlesex afd.. and also of a Peice ofGround whereon is erected
and built a Messuage or Tenement in the possesion of Major Bletchington situate and
being in Bucking ham Street in York buildings afd.. In Pursuance of the Late Act of
parliment intituled an Act to Oblige Papists to Registers their names and real

may be necessary or is required by the said late Act for duely Registring my name [..] state
aforsd. as fully to all intented construnts and purposes whatsoever as I the said Thomas Dereham< no role > might [..]
or could doe the same being personally present And whatsoever my said Attorney Shall
doe in or about the promissed I the said Thomas Dereham < no role > Shall ratifye confirne and
allow as if I in my own person had done the same. In Witnesse whereof I the Sd.
Thomas Dereham< no role > have here unto sett any hand and Seale this thirty first day of May in
the seventh Yeare of the Reigne of his Mjestye King George Annos Dud 1721 .
