General Quarter Sessions of the Peace
held for this County

The Humble Petion of John Dance< no role >

Sheweth


That Yor. Petr. being of the age of fifteen Yeares
contrary to the will of his parents who are now Living
did bind himself an Apprentice to George Millis< no role >
of Hampton wick in this County Waterman for the Terme
of Seven Yeares

That Yr. Petr. hath Served his Said Master for
abt. the Space of Nine Months and during such time,
his said Master who is bound over to Appeare att
th is Present Sessions to answr. Yr. Petr. Complaint
hath several times given yr. Petr. Immoderate
Correccon upon the Slightest occasion

That Yr. Petrs. Said Master hath not Supplyed Yr
Petr. wth. necessary food and Clothing for want of
wth. Yr. Petr. is almost Starved and naked altho his
said Master is Oblidged thereto by the said Indenture

That Yr. Petrs said Master Since he was bound
over as aforesaid has in a present Manner beat &
bruised Yr. Petr. by kicking him on the belly face &
other parts of his Body

Yr. Petr.therefore humbly prays Yr
worships will be pleased to
Discharge Yr. Petr. from his
said Apprenticeship by reason of
his said Masters violent usage
towards him

And Yr. Petr. shall ever pray Etc
