Upon applicacon made unto this County by John Beacham< no role >
Constable of the parish of Ashford in this County Setting forth that he hath served the
sd. Office of Constable for four yeares last past, And that noe
Court Leet hath been held within the sd. parish nor any
Order given by [..] Richard Regnell< no role > the Lord of the Mannor
of Ashford for holding a Court Leet, And the sd John
Beacham praying to be discharged from his Sd Office
It is thought fit & Ordered by this Court that tho Sd
John Beacham be discharged form his Sd Office,
And that John Ranckly< no role > of Ashford aforesd yeoman be
and he is hereby appointed Constable of the parish of Ashford
aforesaid in the room of the Sd John Beacham, And
the said John Ranckly is hereby required to attend
his Maties. Justices of the peace for this County at the
present Generall Quarter Sessions of the peace to be
held for this County at Hickshall in St. John Street in
the Sd County [..] by adjornmt. on Thursday next
at ten of the clock in the forenoon to take his Oath for
his due execucon of the office of Constable for the
parish of Ashford aforesaid, And here of the
said John Ranckly is not to faile as he will answer
the contrary at his peril,
