Imprimis For that the said Thomas Vincent< no role > her this deponents husband hath over sine
her this deponts. intermarriage with him Behaved himself peryrussly and inhumanly towards this
Depont. by abuseing this Depont. with words & Blows and by turning this Depont. out of Doors and by
many times threatening and swearing he would knock her this deponts. braine out & be the death of an
her this Depont he at the same time liveing in known and open adultery with another woeman or
so that she this deponent hath not Been able to live with him for these eighteen months and or
upwardd last past.

Item For that the said Thomas Vincent< no role > on the thirtieth day of June last did in or about the after
noon of the day aforesaid in a violent unlawfull & disorderly manner repair to a pertain publick house
commonly called or known by the name of the Robin Hood in or near Hammersmith aforesaid
where this depont was then in a peaceable quiett and orderly manner drinking with Mr. Vincent this depont
said husbands mother in Law & two of his daughters by a former wife vizt Mary Vincent< no role > & Elizabeth
Vincent
< no role > in an upper Room or Chamber in the said house where the door of the said Chamber being
Shutt he swore he would Break open the same if this depont or some other in the said Chamber did not
open it where upon the door to present farther trouble & disturbance being opened he entred and first
Legamm to abuse this depont. By calling her severall abusive names and afterwards he starch this
depont. in the face with his first & beat and brnised this depont. from head to toe in a most sade a
manner so that this Depont was black a blew in her face & many other parts of her Body and pending
Senseless thereby & at the same time he beat the said Mr. Vincent his mother in lone maoery said
and violent manner so that Both of them have Been ill & much out of order Since and as this
Depont. hath since understood from Mr. Alstone who is the Alehouse Keeper there (and sheperily
beleives it to be true)her said husband had Killed her this Depont if the said Mr. Alstone had not
interposed & he afterwards threatened this depont. and told her if she swore the peace against
him he would stabb her this depont. or used words to such or the like Effect to the great affright &
terror of her this Depont. and the people of the said house And the only occasion of the said battery
was as this Depont. apprhends because this depont. was in company with his said two Children as aforesaid

Item for the severall reasons aforesaid & for and by reason of severall other Insults abuses & Prover
pations which she this deponent hath had and received from the said Thomas Vincent< no role > she this Depont.
doth sory that she this Depont. doth day by go in bodily fear of his life from him the said Thomas
Vincent
< no role > or of receiveing some great or Bodyly harm from him the said Thomas Vincent< no role > her said
husband and further saith that she doth not make this Complaint thro hatred malice or ill wither
unto her said husband the said Thomas Vincent< no role > but only for the Prservation of her person from
danger.
