The Order of Richard Woodward< no role > and J: Cranford Esqrstwo of her Majties Justices
of the Peace for the County of Middx (Quor un) Inhabiting and resideing next unto the Limitts
where the Parish Church of the Parish of Fulham in the same County is, Made the Second day of
December in the Ninth Year of the reign of our Sovereign Lady Anne by the grace of God Queene of
Great Britain Etc Annoqr Din 1710 As well for the releife of the aforesaid Parish As also for the
Maintenance and keeping of a female Bastard child (not Yet Baptized) begotten on the body of
Junian Marshall< no role > Singlewoman and,about a [..] the five and twentieth day of November now last past borne in the said Parish of Fulham
And which is already become chargeable to the Same Parish

Wee her Majties. said Justices of the Peace haveing (upon the Complaint of the Churchwarden and Overseers of the
Poor of the abovesaid Parish of Fulham, on Fulham Side) taken upon us the Hearing and Examinacon of the Said
Cause and Circumstances thereof Doe find by the Examination this day of the abovesaid Junian Marshall taken upon Oath, ye
one Samuel Hastie< no role > of the abovesaid Parish of Fulham Linnen: Draper had the carnall Knowledge of her the said
Junian Marshall< no role > s body on the Tenth day of March now last past And that noe other Person whatsoever at any
time ever had the Carnall Knowledge of her the Said Junian Marshall's body, excepting the the Said Samuel Hastie And
Wee the said Justices of the Peace doe further find is already become chargeable to the said Parish of Fulham
and likely to continue a great charge to the Same if not Prevented: Wherefore Wee her Majties. said Justices
of the Peace Doe Deeme and Adjudge him the said Samuel Hastie to be the Reputed father of the said female
Bastard Child And doe therefore Order that he the Said Samuel Hastie doe and shall, immediatly on Sight hereof
or of a true Coppy thereof to him delivered, pay or cause to be paid unto the Said Churchwarden and Overseers of the Poor
or unto Some or one of them the Sume of Forty shillings being at the rate of Tenn Shillings per weeke for the first
four weeks next after the delivery of the said Junian Marshall of her said female Bastard Child for and towards the
Charges of her Lyeing in, Nursing and attendance, And also five Shillings for her Midwife And Wee further Order
that he the Said Samuel Hastie shall pay or cause to be paid into the hands of the said Churchwarden & Overseers
or their Successors for the time being or unto some or one of them towards the maintenance of the said female bastard
Child weekly and every weeke the Sume of One shilling and Six pence Soe long as the said female bastard Child
Shall continue chargeable to the said Parish The first weekly paymt. thereof to commence & be made on Wednesday
the Seven and twentieth day of December now next ensueing And that Shee the said Junian Marshall Shall for
her part pay into the same hand or hands weekely and every weeke to commence & begin as last aforesaid the weekly
Sume of twelve pence dureing the time of her said female Bastard Child's continueing a Charge to the said Parish. And
lastly Wee Order That immediatly on Sight hereof or of a true Coppy hereof He the said Samuel Hastie shall enter
into Bond with sufficient Securities to the said Churchwarden and Overseers of the Poor conditioned for the true
performance of his part of this our Order or else to Appeal against the same at the next generall Sessions of ye Psace
to be holden for this County. Given under our hands and seales this Second day of December in the said Ninth
Year of the reign of our said Sovereign Lady Queens Anne Annoqr a Din 1710
