Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us Two of Her Maties: Justices of the
Peace for the County of Middlesex (Quor unus) by the Churchwardens & Overseers
of the Poor of the parish of St Giles in the Feilds in the said County That James
Palmer
< no role > aged near fourteen Years & Henry Palmer< no role > aged eleven Years
the children of James Palmer< no role > who is now a Pewhoner belonging to
Her Maties: Royall Hospitall at Chelsea are lately brought into the Said
parish & endavoured to be Settled there contrary to Law And it
appearing unto us the said Justices that the said two children [..]
are likely to become chargable to the said parish And wher [..]
upon examination of James Palmer< no role > father of the said children it
farther appeareth unto us upon Oath that James Palmer & Henry [..]
Palmer his Said children, were both of them born in the parish of
Chesham in the County of Bucks & where the Said James Palmer the
father was an Inhabitant for Seweral years (Wee the said Justice [..]
do adjudge the said parish of Chosham to be the last place of
the legall Settlement of James Palmer & Henry Palmer the
children abovementioned and do therefore in Her Maties: nam [..]
charge & command the Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poor of [..]
parish of St. Giles in the Feilds forthwith to remove & convey [..]
Said James Palmer & Henry Palmer from the Said parish of [..]
St Giles in the Feild to the parish of Chesham and deliver the
to the Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poor there or to Some or
one of them who are hereby required to receive them into their
care & to Provide for them according to Law, Given under Our
Hands & Seals the twenty fifth day of June anno Due 1711

To the Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poor of the parish
of st Giles in the Feilds in the County of Middlesex and
to the Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poor of the parish
of Chesham in the County of Bucks and to all others
whom it may concerve
