The Examncacon of John Steevenes< no role > of the Push
of Rowley in Cond Stafford Black smith taken this
24th day of August 1674

Who sayes that about fore qeares last past he Cause out
of stafford there, and ever Since has beene in and about
London and Middx where he has followed some tymes
day labour, Some tymes brickwork, and some tymes hee
used to help black smiths to worke, and sayes that hee
knowes Thomas Lester< no role > & Mr. Duke, andSayes that hee hasthat her has knowne
on John, that used to worke in Mr Wilds seller, for about fire
weeks, but sayes he Knowes not his other name, And further sayes
that Mr Duke used to Imploy him, with worke, for the
makeing of Haiyes, Hamers, and other sorts of Iron worke
and sayes that he has worked for qe said Duke about
Nayne weeks, And [..] further sayes that hee has
Knowne Mr Constable for about a Yeare and a
halfe and that with in or fortnight last past, he lent to
the said Md Constable; two halfes, and two Twelves,
amounting to Seven Shillings, And sayes hee has Seene
Mr Duke worke in six shopp severall tymes, at the Trad & of a
smith, and this Informt, has worked with him severall tymes at
the And will.
