He Saith that this Prsent day being a ditching for [..]

his Mrs being ye wife of ye Said Mr
Hide called to him & Said that there were two Soldiers
who had taken Some linnen of from a hedge which
was then a dryeing whereupon he together wth one
Ralph Weston pursued the Said Soldiers who were gone
about four or five feilds before they overtooke them
& afterwards they brought them bark & the Said
Soldiers brought them to a ditch where they had
conveighed the linnen that they had taken being
two Shirtts & four Shiffts And this Informant further
deposeth that william Green< no role >
one of the Said Soldiers
tould him that their Officers did abate them of their
pay & they wanted Linnen & would doe it if it
were to be done Againe
