This Informomt saith that as he was Passiner along the Strand
on Monday
the Twenty fourth day of February last about eight or nine of the cleck
in the evening A pson came behind him & catched his hat & perining
of From his Head whereupon this Informt tyed out Stop Cherse &
upon the Said outery the Soldier who ownes his name to be [..]
Steward Feed & was Imediately Apprhended by one Mr Cole but this
Informant did not find yd sd Hatt & Wing in ye Custody of ye said
Steward And this Informant further depeseth that ye said Steward did
tell this Informant after he was Apprhended that if this Informant
would god allong wth: him to ye Golden Ball
wth is an Ald Celler over
against Somerset House
he would send for his Comrade & then
he would doe his Endavour to help this Informt to his hatt & Peining
againe
