Whereas by Order made at the Generall Sessions
of the Peace holden for this County by adjornment
on Thursday the Twenty ninth day of August last
It was recomended and referred unto Robert
Thornhill

William Cotesworth Senior John Fuller< no role > D'Oyly

Justices of the Peace for this County or any three
of them to give Such Orders and Directions for
the Speedy and effectuall Repair of New Prison
at Clerkenwell in the said County, and to employ
such Workman or Workmen in the doeing there of
as they should think fit, and at as cheap Rates
and prices as the same could be effectually done
for, and to superintend and see that such
Repaires should be well and sufficiently done
and performed in a Substantiall & Workmanlike
manner, And to give an Accompt to the Court
of Generall or Quarter Sessions of what Sume
or Sumes of Money should be due and payable
to the Workman or Workmen so to be employed
for the doeing thereof, And It was Ordered and
directed by the said Order that such Workman or
