in Consequence of his River which a little above joins the
River Cran
and runs under it together I will venture to
say no as there was a necessity to have a Bridge there for
the Public use long before the Isleworth Mill Stream
was
made and supporting and repairing the small Bridge at
the East end thereof imply's a Compensation for the use of
the other and what is remarkable the Duke of Northumberland
neither as Lord of the Manor nor as proprietor of Isleworth
Mill River
repairs or upholds any Bridge for Carriage or
otherwise over or to any place where the Crainford Stream
and Isleworth stream
are united but all other Bridges
for Carriages and otherwise from where the said Mill
River is seperated from the River Coln
and before it's
Junction are all Built and repaired at the Expence
of the Duke of Northumberland except Perry field Bridge
before mentioned and a Share of the repairs of the first
Bridge at Longford over the said stream jointly with
the Trustees of the Turnpike Road.-this Sir is all I
know respecting Baber Bridge
however I will venture
to assert it is very dangerous to his Majesty's subjects
passing and repassing that way and it ought to be
rebuilt or Repaired
