Being in Number One Hundred and Ninety Offenders so removed and
conveyed as aforesaid for each of which said Offenders the said Richard
Akerman as Keeper of the said Gaol of Newgate for the County of Middlesex by
virtue of the said Act of Parliament claims to be paid by the said County of
Middlesex the Sum of Fourteen shillings and ten pence the Fee which hath
usually been paid to the said Richard Akerman< no role > This name instance is in set 4413. as such Keeper of the said Gaol
for the said County on the Transportation of Felons and other Offenders amounting in
the whole to the Sum of one Hundred and Forty Pounds 18/4 And the said Richard
Akerman craves that the said Sum of One Hundred and Forty Pounds 18/4 and
also the Sum of Sixty Four Pounds Eight shillings and four pence halfpenny for the
Expences which he hath incurred in the Removal and Conveyance of the said
Offenders may be allowed to him by the Order of the Workshipful his Majestys
Justices of the Peace for the County of Middlesex assembled at this present General
Session of the Peace holden for the said County in pursuance of the said Act of
Parliament in order that the said Richard Akerman< no role > may receive the Money due
for such Fees and Expences from the Treasurer of the said County in pursuance of
the said Act of Parliament Dated the Tenth day of September One Thousand
Seven Hundred and Ninety two.
