"William Mainwaring< no role > Esqr . M. P. Chairman of the Sessions for the
County of Middlesex , Sessions House, Clerkenwell Green London.

Sir,

William Field< no role > High Constable for the Parishes of South Mimms
& Hadley in this Division having greatly misbehav'd himself in the
Execution of his Office & by no means a proper Person to be continued in
that Office, Mr Prescot & Mr Coleman desire to join with me in
recommending Mr. John Goodwin< no role > as a proper Person to succeed him,
he being well recommended to Us by the principal Gentlemen in the
Neighbourhood of South Mimms & Hadley.

Whereupon It was Moved that Mr. John Goodwin< no role > of
South Mimms be sworn in one of the High Constables Edmonton
Hundred in the stead of William Field< no role > and that the Clerk of the Peace
do give Notice thereof to the said William Field< no role > forthwith, which
being Seconded was Ordered accordingly.
