the List of the Members of the said Committee and that they do
form a new list of such Gentlemen in the Commission of the peace
for this County as will and are most likely to attend to the business
of the said Committee and report the same to the Court on the
County day of the next Session Etc. and that the said Committee
do meet for the first time on such day and at such place as The
Reverend Sir George Booth< no role > Baronet shall appoint and afterwards
do meet and adjourn at pleasure

By adjournment same day

It having been represented to this Court that George Elliot< no role >
Gentleman High Constable of the Division of the Hundred of
Ossulston within this County called the Tower Division had
been in the said Office for Three Years and Upwards and
several of His Majestys Justices of the peace for this County
residing and Acting in the said Division being now here
present and having recommended it to the Court to continue
the said George Elliot< no role > in the Office of High Constable for the said
Division as well on Account of his good Behaviour in his
Office as his knowledge of the duties thereof This Court doth
hereby Continue and appoint the said George Elliot< no role > Gent
High Constable within the said Division of the said
Hundered of Ossulston called the Tower Division

By adjournment Monday 21st Septr.

Whereas at this Court Thomas Coombes< no role > one of the
High Constables for the Hundred of Gore hath Exhibited his
Petition Setting forth that on the Twenty first day of August 1775
he was by an Order of Court Sworn into the said office and which
Office he has Executed to the best of his ability for the Space of
Three Years during the whole of which time he was by reason
of his frequent Rheumatic Indispositions and form the nature
of the said Office at a Great Expence in discharging the duty
thereof and praying to be discharged from his said Office and this
Court being satisfied in the premises and George Presgrove< no role > of
Mill Hill Hendon Gentleman being recommended to
this Court by two of his Majestys Justices of the peace for the said
County residing and Acting for the said Hundred as a fit and
proper person to Serve the said Office This Court doth
hereby appoint the said George Presgrove< no role > to be one of the High
