Brentford Bridge

James Clitherow< no role > Esqr . one of his Majesties Justices of
the Peace for this County and also one of the Committee
concerning the new building of Brentford Bridge in
the said County having Reported (oretenus) unto
this Court that he hath Paid Several bills in
relation to Mrs. Hunsdon and Otherwise the
expence thereof being Occasioned by the new building
of the Said Bridge and the Bills being made out in
his Name amounting to £7..1s..5d in the whole
It is Ordered by this Court that Mr. John Higgs< no role > ,
Treasurer of this County do Pay the Said Sum of
Seven Pounds one Shilling and five Pence unto
the Said Mr Clitherow in discharge of the Said
Bills and that the said Sum be allowed to the
said Treasurer upon his account,

By adjornment on Thursday the 9th. day of December 1742

Upon inspecting Several bills laid before this Court by Mr.
Thomas Northcote< no role > House Keeper of the Sessions House called
Hick's hall in St. John Street in this County of Moneys
Payable for repairs done to the said Sessions House and
on account of Some furniture Provided for the said House
and for repairing other furniture therein, And it
appearing to this Court by writeing Under the hands of
John Elliott< no role > This name instance is in set 3963. and Anthony Wroth< no role > Esquires two of his
Majesties Justices of the Peace for this County that they have
Examined and allowed the said Bills only deducting four
Shillings and ten Pence from the bill of Charles
Wainwright Smith< no role > and one Shilling & nine Pence
from the bill from the Bill of Richard Jupp< no role > Carpenter
which bills after such deduction are as followeth (to wit)

Great Room 16 Yds.a 8.6} £6..16s..0d
