the same, And to give proper Orders and directions and take
care that the same should be effectually repaired in a
Substantial and Workmanlike manner and the Court
then declared that due care should be taken that not only
the Expence of doeing the said repairs and finding materials
for that purpose but also such Monies as were then due to
any Workmen for repairs formerly done to such part of
the said Bridge as is in this County should be well and
truly paid and discharged Now upon report made unto
this Court by the said John Wilson< no role > John Gumley< no role >
Leonard Streate< no role > and by Nathaniel Blackerby< no role > Esqrs
Justices of the peace for this County that in pursuance
of the said Order they have throughly viewed that part
of Chertsea Bridge aforesaid which stands in this
County and find the same very much out of repair
and is become dangerous for any persons to passover
the said Bridge and that they adjudge it necessary
that the same should be forthwith repaired and for
that purpose have treated with Francis Browne< no role > of
Laleham in this County Carpenter (who formerly
built the said Bridge) to repair and amend the same
And the said Francis Browne< no role > hath delivered unto the
said Comittee an Estimate of the necessary charge in
repairing the said Bridge Vizt.

For 11 Load of speer Oak timber at £3 P load £33:0:0:
For three Piles£15:0:0:
for sawing the Timber£6:0:0:
for Iron Work£5:0:0:
for 150 load of Gravel£5:0:0
for Carpenters Work£12:0:0:
for painting£4:0:0:
£80:0:0

And that they having adjudged the said Estimate
reasonable the said Francis Browne< no role > hath agreed to
perform the repairs of the said Bridge in a Workmanlike
manner pursuant to the said Estimate and that he
will compleat and finish the same on or before the
