of Vagrants,

Upon reading the humble Petition of Henry Hodges< no role > one of
the Petty Constable of Southmims in this County Exhibited
unto this Court Setting forth that at Michaelmas last
there was due and owing unto the Petitioner the Sume
of Twenty Pounds for half a years Salary for his
loss of Time charge and expences in relieving passing
and conveying of Vagrants through this County, It
was prayed by the Petitioner that this Court will be
pleased to order the payment of the said Sume of
Twenty pounds unto the Petitioner for the said Service
This Court being satisfyed of the truth of the Premisses
Doth think fit an Order that Robert Hardisty< no role >
Gentleman Deputy Clerk of the peace of this County
Doe out of the Vagrant Money to him paid by John
Mills
< no role > Gentleman the late Treasurer of moneys raised
for passing of Vagrants and by Robert Kent< no role > Gentleman
late high Constable of Kensington Division in this
County pay unto the said Henry Hodges< no role > the said Sume of
Twenty pounds in full satisfaction of the Moneys
allowed him for his loss of time and expences in
Passing of Vagrants for half a year ending at
Michaelmas last And that the Receipt of the
said Henry Hodge< no role > together with this Order shall
be a sufficient Discharge to the said Robert Hardisty< no role >
for such Payment.
