last September Sessions to prove that the Letter was sent
to the said Robert Colliver< no role >
stating that a Legacy was left by
his Aunt (lately deceased) to him the said Robert Colliver< no role >
and
likewise to shew to this honorable Court that the said Robert
Colliver was not sent out of the way by the said William Cook< no role >
but that he was invited into the Country in consequence of the
said letter to him in London to receive the Legacy as before stated
And this deponent saith that the said Letter was wrote for
no other purpose but that of imposing upon this honorable
Court and to avoid the said Robert Colliver< no role >
giving his Evidence
in the above prosecution And this deponent further saith
that on the Morning following William Akers< no role >
came and one

whom this deponent is informed is one of the
Bail
of the said William Akers< no role >
to the said William Cooks Yard
at Lambeth
of aforesaid and there the said William Akers< no role >
with
tears in his Eyes in the presence of this deponent told the said
William Cook< no role >
that he was a Villian and if he did not settle the
affair that he the said William Akers< no role >
must certainly go to
Botany Bay
and he the said William Cook< no role >
with him for that
he the said William Cook< no role >
was the Villian and very well knew
that he had recieved the Wheat from him at different times
and that he had been the occasion of the Wheat being Stolen
from his Master Barge. John Nelson< no role >

that at the letter end of September last he this deponent at
the request of the Prosecutor

lives at Lambeth
aforesaid and Several
times since in order to have served him with a Subpoena in
the above prosecution and he there saw the Wife of the said
Robert Colliver< no role >
and enquired of her where the said Robert
Colliver was to be found and She reply'd that her Husband
was gone into the Country to see her Friends and refused to give
this deponent any particular account where he was gone
or where he was to be found And this deponent further saith
