but which were always taken away at Night, and Informant thereupon
suspectted that the said John Langford< no role > had stolen the same Goods and
thereupon Informant acquainted his Master by Letter of what he had observed;
And Informant further saith that about three Pounds of Silk, half a Pound
of Twist and one pound of Thread found at the House of the said William
Annand are as this Informant verily believes, the same which Informant
saw at different times concealed among the Wrappers in his said Master's
Warehouse and are his Property, this Informant having marked such
several Parcels of Goods at the time he saw them concealed as aforesaid
And this Informant the said John Welsford< no role > on his Oath further
saith that the four Gross of plated Buttons so found as aforesaid at the said
William Annand< no role > 's House are the Property of this Informant, they having [..]
Informant's Shop Mark thereon at the Time they were so found. And
lastly Informant saith that the said Robert Himber confessed to this
Informant that the Bank Notes and Cash found at his Lodgings as
aforesaid were the Produce of the several Articles stolen from his said
Master and sold by the said Robert Kimber< no role > to the said William Annand< no role >
excepting the Sum of five Pounds which was Money received by him for
Wages.
