Thirty five Pounds per Annum in Houses. Then he came to
London and lodged with his former Master(Thompson) four
or five Months; then went to Henry Downing< no role > of the Whittington
and Cat in White Chapel in the County of Middlesex That he
Boarded and lodged there about three Months and paid for such
his Board and Lodging fourteen or fifteen Shillings per Week.
That soon after he took a Corn Chandler's Shop in White Chapel
Road in Partnership with the said Henry Downing< no role > with a
saint Capital of Six or Seven hundred pounds, That he this
Examinant advanced the Sum of Two hundred and fifty Pounds
on account of such Partnership, which Sum he received from
Mr. Fuller that took the Mill, and paid by Draughts upon Fuller
and Son Brown and Collinson, That he continued in the Business
of a Corn-Chandler about One year and a Quarter; and then the
said Partnership disolved in Consequence of a Disagreement
between him and the said Henry Downing< no role > . Examinant then
went to Mr. Kembler a Stable Keeper in White Chapel afore-
-said and was his Agent about three Years in purchasing
Mules and Horses, and was paid sometimes Half a Crown and
at other Times two Shillings in the Pound and boarded and
lodged with the said Mr. Kembler during the Time of his Agency
as aforesaid, That he received more Money of the said Mr. Kembler
than what he this Examinant expended during the Period he lived
with the said Mr. Kembler; and that the said Mr. Kembler died
in debted to him this Examinant about Thirty seven Pounds
for Money paid to his Use in purchasing Mules and Horses
After the Death of the said Kembler He this Examinant went
to lodge with Mr. Smith of Hornchurch by Rumford a Farmer
as his Companion and Steward. That he continued with the
said Mr. Smith Eight or Nine Months but did not pay
him this Examinant any Thing for his Services, That
he this Examinant had about fifty or Sixty Pounds when he
went to Mr. Smith and spent about fourteen or fifteen pounds
while he stayed with the said Mr. Smith That he returned from
thence to London which is about four or five Months ago, and
