accept for the Purchase of the before mentioned Premes the Sum of
£205 being £53 more than they were estimated at by the City
Surveyor
The Clause in the Act directing inter alia that in
the case of a defective Title the Court of Mayor and Aldermen
solely are empowered to order the Sum assessed by the Jury to be paid
into the Bank as therein particularly mentioned altho the Premises
are in the county of Middlesex
It is therefore submitted that the
Court of Session had no further or other Jurisdiction herein than that
of receiving the Verdict of the JuryOffice Copy of which Verdict and
Judgment must its presumed be applied for in order that the Court
of Mayor & Aldermen may direct the Sum awarded to be paid into the
Bank for the benefit of the Parties intitled thereto
