Middlesex Prisoners upon Orders.

to be holden in and for the county of Surry, to answer to all such matters and
things as shall be objected against him, particularly for feloniously acting and assist-
ing in the false making, forging and counterfeiting a promissory note of the Governor
and Company of the Bank of England, for the payment of £.20 to Thomas Harris< no role > ,
Esq ; or bearer on demand, with intention to defraud the said Governor and Com-
pany.Upon the motion of Mr. Morgan.

hard labour for the term of 3 years on the river Thames .

during the time of the annual exercise of the Western regiment of militia. Remains
on his commitment.

since been further respited until the 29th day of October.

wife , was branded, and ordered to be imprisoned one year.

39 Ebenezer Smith Platt< no role > , committed Jan. 23, 1777, by W. Addington, Esq; charged,
on oath of Richard Scriven< no role > and Samuel Burnett< no role > , with high treason at Savannah in
the colony of Georgia in North-America ; ordered to remain on his commitment-
Was, on the 12th day of May, taken by habeas corpus into his Majesty's court of
King's-Bench, and remanded.
