Inverkeithing Novr the 30th. 1775

Dear Sir

I was duly favourd with yoars of
the 23d inst and would have anfnd. you
yesterday, but have been so bad for Some
time back, and also all my family have
been bad otherwise I would have Seen
you at London before the time as
I had frighted my Ship in order to
be at London to wait or Mr White
at the Old Ballee but Sickness have
provented. me I most only therfor say
that he Mr White will I feor gett
off which I am Sorrety for, however I
must only begg that you will endavour
to gett me free of the Caymeance &
these and all other expences you have
been at Shall be paid or I must
