aforesaid Mate
of the said Vessell make Oath and sayand saythat on the
Eleventh Day of October Instant the said Ship sailed from the Isle of Wight
for the Port of London
laden with thirty Tons or twelve Hundred Bushells
of English white Salt for and on the Account of James White< no role >
of Thamas

the Owner thereof which Salt had been shipped
on Beard the said Ship on the Twenty ninth Day of September last and
cleared at Cowes for the Use of the said Mr. White And the Duties thereof
had been duly paid to His Majesty And say that the said Ship in the
Course of her Voyage was drove of on Shore upon a Place called the
Wool pack Sands
off the Reculvers
in the Afternoon of the thirteenth
Day of October Instant and thereby bulged and sunk and was totally last and
that all the said Salt so on Board her perished by Means of that
Accident and that the same was not occasioned by any Leek age of the
said Ship or by any Negligence or Default of the said Deponent Henry
Coffin the Master thereof or of any of the Mariners belonging to
the same.
