The voluntary Examination of
Wm. Watts< no role > taken this 24 March 1756
who saith that about a Month ago, the
got acquainted with James Skurlock< no role >
at the Glass House & last Saturday was,
3 Weeks they went together about 8 o'
Clock to a check Shop oppt Field gate
White Chappel & got out of the Window
2 pieces of Cheque contaning about
20 yards by taking, a Crack pane of
Glass out of the Window which they
fold for about 22 Shillings In Rag
Fair

That from time to time they have daily
gone together upon London Bridge &
several parts of the City picking poe
ketts of Handkerchiefs, which they
have sold to one plump & his Wife
& one Ballendine & is Wife in Cable Mr.

That on Saturday 13 Inst
they took out of a Shop Window in
White Chappel oppt. plow Street about
8 or 9, Seven silk Handkerchiefs in different
parcels one of which the same Night
they sold to, plump for 22d; 2 others
they pawnd to 2 pawn brokers in Good
mans fields , & the other 4 were Sold by
Eliz Allen< no role > & Eliz Dollison< no role >
