maketh Oath that he is advised & believes that
the said Prosecutor George Sheilds< no role >
is a material Witness for the
Crown in this Cause & without whose Evidence the said Defendant
cannot be convicted And this Dept. saith that the said George
Sheilds
was comitted to the County Goal for the County of
Kent by Mr. Justice Foster at the last Assizes holden for the said
County of Kent
And this Dept. is informed & believes that the said Sheilds
now remains a Prisoner in the said Goal on the said Conmtinent
And this Dept. saith that he apprehends the said Sheilds cannot now
be removed soon enough to give Evidence against the said Deft. at
this present Session of Oyer & Terminer holden for the City of
London but this Dept. will do all in his Power to get him
removed for that Purpose at the next session to be holden for
the City of London
aforesaid
