Thomas Masters< no role > of Forestreet Butcher , Maketh Oath saith that on Friday in the
Easter Hallowday Week about 9 or 10 o Clock at Night he saw Pearson have the
Deced Samuel Denton< no role > by the Collar & saw him beat his head Against a Door
and Afterwards saw him pull him along to his own house, & then heard the
Deced cry out very much & heard him say Dr. Sr: dout beat me, And heard
him cry out very much After that, This Depont. further says that he never
saw the Deced out of his Masters house after that Night And that on
Wednesday the 2d: of May he Dyed, And on the Tuesday before he died this
Depont. heard that he was Ill & at the same time was informd that
he had the dry Leprosy upon him

that on Friday in the Easter Hallowday Week he saw Thos. Pearson< no role > beat the Deced
Samuel Denton< no role > as this Deponent verily believes was with a horsewhip but
cannot be certain And heard him cry out very much & desired his Master
not to beat him, Says that he never saw the Deced out of his Masters know
after that, And that he dyed the 2d. of May, And before that he never saw
a healthyer Boy in his Life

She heard Thos: Pearson< no role > say I have got you now, & at the same time
saw him beat she Deced Samuel Denton< no role > & heard him cry out very
much
