Wee the Grand Inquest for the City of London
do most
humbly & unanimously present, that John Bathaw< no role >
of the Parish of Saint Mary Le Bors
in Cordwainers
Ward
within London
, now & for the Space of two Months last
past has kept an ill govern'd & disorderly house;
scituate in the said Parish, one door of which house go
into Well Court
, & the other door of the said House into
George Yard
, and for the sake of wicked Lucre & Gain
he during the said time aforesaid has kept a reputed
Common bawdy house
, and that the said house ought
to be suppress'd, it appearing to us that the said

most greatly tend to the Corruption of the morals

safety, & to the special Terror & nusance of all
his Majestys Leige subjects inhabiting that about
